It is important to know that the materials used in producing our glasses are honestly far superior to most reading glasses on the market.

• Depending on the model, our metal models are made of either: optical stainless steel, AMG aluminum alloy, MONEL OR nickel 25 alloy. We do not use iron, lead, white copper, yellow copper or any low grade nickel alloy.
• Our acetate models use genuine Italian or HK multi-laminate materials.
• Depending on the model, our plastic models are made of either Swiss Grilamid TR-90 pellets (a nylon-12 derivative) or GE Polycarbonate.
• Our electroplating color quality is similar to the medium priced frames sold at most optical shops.
• Our metal frames are of optical quality using stainless steel screws and adjustable rocker nose pads.
• The majority of our frames (in which the design allows it) have superior spring hinges, many with integrated mechanisms.
• Our lenses are aspheric acrylic, AR scratch resistant. On all newer models they are safety beveled edged with a center/center axis and are checked to ensure that both are identical.
• Our lenses comply with strict USA FDA safety standards.
• The PD is 63-64 mm.
